It's raining in Singapore, dammit!
Here we are, in the city of Singapore. A city so great they named it something..pore. No, that's a mean joke, I don't have anything against Singapore. Although, and brace yourself... I'm using IE6 right now to type this. That's right, all Internet terminals in Changi Airport have IE6 on it... *shivers*
The site holds up surprisingly well in IE6, as does the back end (CMS stuff). Quite wonderful, seeing as I intentionally didn't test in IE6. I should've known that it was going to bite me in the ass. I mean, why would something as an airport have decent software? Ah well, at least I'm not paying for this Internet connection.
My Penny Arcade joke is completely ruined though... I thought it was Singapore but, it wasn't. I had thing whole thing planned out with "It's raining in Singapore" and what do you know, upon landing in Singapore... it was really raining! I was so freaking excited... now I tried to link to the comic and was highly disappointing to see that it was in fact Shanghai. (Comic copyrighted to Penny Arcade)
My flight out here, from Amsterdam, was good, pretty relaxed. Watched some movies (on the tiny screen in the chair), had decent meals, played some old school Nintendo games (ditto on the tiny screen in the chair) and... attempted to sleep. Needless to say I didn't sleep that much.
But, that's it for now! I did shoot plenty of video, I'll upload that as soon as I have a decent machine to work on. I can't even connect any devices to this one, it doesn't have any ports. Nor does it have any access to Windows, I can only use IE.
